Kinetic Training does not require an account or a login. Review the in-app guides under Menu → Legal & Support, or the FAQs on this page.
Starting a workout
Open the Workouts tab to continue an active session or start from a template. Use Home for quick starts and today’s scheduled plan. Finish a session from the workout screen when you are done logging sets.
Momentum (AI coach)
Momentum is optional. To use in-app plan building, add your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key under Menu → Momentum. Without a key, you can still import a plan manually from the Plan tab using “Import manually.” API keys stay in your device Keychain.
Units, profile, and data
Change weight units under Menu → Units of Measurement. Edit your name and profile photo under Menu → Profile. To remove workout history, plans, body metrics, and progress photos while keeping templates, use Insights → Manage data → Clear all historic data.
Permissions
If rest-timer alerts do not appear, allow notifications for Kinetic Training in iOS Settings. Photo library and camera access are only used when you add progress photos or a profile picture. You can revoke permissions at any time in Settings.
Troubleshooting
If the app behaves unexpectedly after an update, force quit and reopen it. For persistent issues, reinstall the app. Reinstalling removes on-device workout data unless it is restored from an iCloud or local device backup.
